Sometimes Shanghai is really weird... from the steps of the Grand Gateway Mall at Xujiahui, which has a subway station along Line 1 and is a major sub-centre, especially for shopping, with malls all around the intersection - the glass ball doesn't really serve any purpose, but I guess makes the Metro City mall stand out... not exactly tasteful though
